Senior Adult Ministry
"The Keenagers"

The First Baptist Church of Ahoskie provides opportunities for service and fellowship for its Senior Adults.  The primary ministry with Senior Adults includes fellowship meals, trips to fun and different destinations, and ministry to the church.

Keenagers Fellowship Meal: held at 12:00 noon on the 2nd Tuesday of every month (except June, July, and August), this potluck meal held at the church provides a rich time of fellowship around the table as well as an interesting, entertaining, and informative program to follow.

Excursions: every other month the Senior Adult Ministry takes a day trip to areas such as the Norfolk Botanical Gardens, a local museum, the NC State Fair, and many others.

Visitation Singers: Meets Thursdays from 11:00-11:45am. This is an open group for any and everyone who will come to make visits to area shut-ins, singing hymns as we go.  We have a delightful time ministering through song.
